Professional Experience

2011 - Current

Rufus Rukus Gallery - Owner / Operator
I co-own and operated Rufus Rukus Gallery an independent art and music venue in Brooklyn New York. I work as the talent buyer / curator as well as Graphic Designer and Online Content Manager.

2006 - current

Freelance Design / Web
Since my program at VCC I have been building my portfolio as a web
and graphic designer. I am always focused on creating the best solution for each individual client, and am comfortable working on both web and print projects.

2008 - 2013

I ran my own six colour screenprinting press focusing on small runs
and working with artists on special requests.

2009 - 2010

Donnelly Hospitality Management
I was responsible for everything that represented them online. This included a website for twelve venues, three blogs, all related events on four separate promotion websites (clubzone, clubvibes, UQ events and nightbat), editing photos and building an online network on facebook and twitter.

2007 - 2009

Peanut Gallery
In 2007 I started and operated The Peanut Gallery in Vancouver BC.
It was a small venue / gallery run out of a basement in downtown core. Over that time I worked with many artists and musicians including White Lung,
Nu Sensae, Rich Aucoin, The Clips, Women, DJ My Gay Husband, Admit, Oaph, Andy Dixon, Merida Anderson, Secret Mommy, No Gold, Robert Mearns, DR. DRFR, Snailhouse, Tyvek, Julia Lecato, name a few.
